The Drop by Jeff Ross. This mouth I read about a book called The Drop by Jeff Ross. I have not finished reading this book yet; I am currently on page 112. This book is about a kid named Bryce who went missing. His friends Alex, Dave, and hope are trying to find him and how he went missing. While they where trying to become a backcountry patrol person there friends went missing. And when people go missing they have to find out how they went missing and where they are. That is what a backcountry patrol is.
I liked this book because I really like snowboarding and action book. When I started reading this book I wouldn’t stop because it was so interesting and there is always something crazy about to happen. For example on page 86. It said, “Alex this drop could be one hundred feet or even 400.” That is why I couldn’t stop reading the book. Because it was so crazy like there was always going to be something crazy ever paragraph.
My favorite character is Alex. Because he is always doing something active or cool. He is always trying to find out how Bryce went missing. Alex is always trying to do something new and will do anything he can on a snowboard. For example. “I hopped twice to get the snow off my board, then leaded forward. The sun came out and shone one the snow. It felt good to be here. Good to be alive. I turned and aimed myself at the edge of the drop, hoping the felling would last.”
my favorite quote from this book is “Don’t think, just do it and everything will work out fine.” This quote is meaning full to me because I think of it every day because if I am scared to do something then all I need to do it think of that quote and I will not be scared.
